Land F/X version 6.10 available

Land F/X version 6.10 is now available for download from the Update feature of the software (note that in fact we are already at 6.12 at the time of this post).

This update includes some of the big features we were working on for 6.00, but didn't quite make it into that one. Primarily, new RefNote callouts, Plan View color renderings with SketchUp, and Table output for Plant Schedule supports Symbols of the plants.
The new RefNote callouts have three styles, Circle, Hex, and Rectangular, and all sport an ability to have a dramatic drop-shadow effect. These callouts are dynamically created -- note that you will want to set your Callout Title font in Preferences to 13 pt size, to better match previous callouts. By having them dynamically created, wide notes such as 32-11-12 and GS-322-10 are possible, in addition to just 1 - 99.
The SketchUp Connection now has an Export 2-D Plan View option, to create a quick plan view color rendering of a plan. We will be recording a webinar on the process very shortly.

We were also able to address many, many small issues, ranging from Osnap settings being reset when pressing Esc while placing plants, to better error handling for many minor issues.

On queue for the next major update is an expanding Lighting module, integration of Site Amenities with the SketchUp Connection, several irrigation wishlist items, a Revit Connection, and more.

The complete update list is as follows:

SketchUp, Import from AutoCAD, automatically downloads missing components.

Valve Schedule, when selecting a Work Area with a custom scale with output to Paperspace, schedule is scaled correctly.

HotFix: Labeling plants from within a viewport in a Metric plan, arrow leaders are moved to Paperspace with correct scaling.

Installer, Install MySQL Server, deletes any existing frm files from previous install.

HotFix: RefNote Schedule, numerical header rows are not mistakenly added to schedule, resulting in error.

SketchUp, Import from AutoCAD, import missing JPG slides improved and corrected.

HotFix: RefNotes callout created with correct text font; size of callout corrected for Metric plans.

HotFix: Placing Detail Callout Placeholders with RefNote will not generate error.

RefNote Schedule, division and subdivision headers are printed on a separate line.

HotFix: Placing RefNotes into a Metric scaled plan, callouts are not mistakenly scaled up 25.4 times.

Reference Note Objects, ability to assign Manufacturer-specific block.

Northing-Easting Point, correctly loops to allow placing multiple.

Installer, Install MySQL, attempts to delete existing log files.

RefNotes, Hex callout slightly reduced in size.

Bricscad, auto-downloads library for viewing web pages within a dialog.

Lighting, Grading, Site Development, Zoning, Concept Graphics, hidden RefNote Division changed to three characters to avoid conflict with two-character division Reference Notes.

Stipple hatch pattern compatible with Bricscad.

Common Quantity Display function, compatible with numbers larger than 2^31; quantities larger than 1,000 are rounded to nearest whole number.

Draw Pipe, does not query pipe class data unless it is necessary to display the Pipe Data dialog box.

HotFix: RefNote Callouts compatible with UCS.

Length Total, uses same calculation method as Reference Note Schedule to avoid AutoCAD 2010 bug.

HotFix: RefNote drop shadow correctly rendered for both Square and Hex callouts.

Update, downloading of Support files compatible with international installations.
