Land F/X version 6.20 available

Land F/X version 6.20 is available for installation from the Update feature of the software.

This update comprises mostly little tweaks here and there, such as the way in which Land F/X creates text styles -- they are now created as 0-height text styles, making it easier for the program to control varying text heights for different scales or different details.

A few larger projects just barely missed this update, but are squarely on the list for the month of December. Look for our new Revit Connection to be released, as well as several additions to the Irrigation functions.

The complete update list is as follows:

Internal plant container size processing functions, empty container size will not cause error.

Layer States, error handling and flow control for handling corrupted layer state files.

Preferences, allows editing a Font assigned a non-existent font file.

Size Lateral Pipes, sizing for all valves, will toggle to Modelspace if necessary.

RefNote Schedule, output to Excel, will not prompt for scale or create RefNote callout blocks.

HotFix: Make Slide Library, common folder selection function will not generate error.

HotFix: Size Mainline, resizing an existing mainline will not generate error when setting pipe to minimum size.

Common Array function, flow control for catastrophic error creating entities.

Detail Builder, Layer States flyout created.

Concept Plant Schedule, for any design group without member plants, includes an empty placeholder.

Placing Drip Areas, conversion of bounding polyline to line segments, minimum arc distance adjusted.

Placing Shrub Areas and RefNote Areas, if polyline is copied from a Shrub Area, does not delete original hatch.

Placing Shrub Areas and RefNote Areas, does not store legacy pointer to hatch object.

Shrub Area hatch processing, updated to common hatch detection function.

Valve Callout, switched to Leader object.

Common Ajax list assembler, error handling for malformed strings.

Mainline Size, will not mistakenly save higher PSI demands from initial sizing with pipe.

HotFix: Lighting Manager, New fixture, canceling symbol selection will not generate error.

Preferences, Details, allows changing Detail Store Folder.

Common Ajax list handler, flow control for reporting server error.

RefNote Schedule, when totaling Length items in an Xref, will not mistakenly include unrelated layers.

Font Select, Text command, does not prompt for text height.

HotFix: SHX fonts are created with 0 height.

Font creation, resets legacy created fonts to 0 height.

HotFix: RefNote Schedule into Metric Paperspace, callouts are not mistakenly scaled twice.

Project Manager, setting project folder, compatible with SQL Server.

RefNote Callout scaling further adjusted for full range of Metric scales.

Lighting Manager, correctly displays image of selected item.

RefNote Schedule, mistakenly duplicated user field values are skipped.

Lighting Schedule, symbols are not mistakenly placed onto non-plot layer.

Plant Schedule, adding of Remarks uses common code with additional flow control for zero-width situations.

SketchUp, Import, if no bottom face is discovered, all plants are imported at 0 Z elevation.

Preferences, RefNotes, Editing User Field Values, will only apply to projects of current Preference Set.

HotFix: Font size calculations are correctly applied to RefNote callouts in Paperspace.

HotFix: Editing a font from Preferences without have a scale will not generate error.

HotFix: Creating a new font style, compatible with MySQL database.

HotFix: Preferences, RefNotes, deleting a User Field will only delete projects values for projects set to current Preference Set.

Leaders, Mtext Leader Frame, text is placed onto text layer.

Manually placing a hatch pattern onto a polyline that already has a Drip area hatch will not cause pipe sizing functions to error out.

All internal calls to programmatically create objects, compatible with non-standard setting of Shadow display.

Renumbering RefNotes, memory management used to avoid maximum selection set error.

Common Table creation function, style settings applied to Table Style object for greater speed.
