Land F/X version 8.60 is available for installation from the Check for Updates feature.

As version 8.50 was delayed a week due to the release of AutoCAD 2013, this update only covers about three weeks worth of work. But among the prominent changes, are a vastly improved system for dealing the layer color conversion process, an ability to select local photos for the plant photo callout, reassociating the plants for any label, and quite a bit of under the hood improvements as part of preparing a version for release to the AutoCAD and DraftSight App Stores.

The complete update list is as follow:

PSI dialog, additional values of 110 and 120.

Highlight Station, highlight layer marked as plottable.

Plant Manager, allow deleting more than one item at a time.

Plant Manager, calls to local plant database removed.

Plant Photo Callout, allows selecting local images.

Place Groundcover, additional verification for processing entity selection.

Plant Manager, Concept Plant Manager, Schedule button added, button rows made common.

Plant Label by Group, with G option for Groundcovers, leader arrow preference for additional areas is set correctly.

Place Ground Cover, when selecting additional interior boundaries, objects are moved to correct layer.

Photo Callout, remembers previous setting for Drop Shadow.

Photo Callout, accounts for inserting multiple images of the same filename.

HotFix: Plant Label Group, when selecting an existing label, drawing additional leader lines will not generate error.

RefNotes Manager, allow deleting more than one item at a time.

Discipline Graphics, placing a block marked as Dimscale, requires a viewport scale.

RefNotes, callouts are automatically moved to Paperspace if placed within a viewport.

Detail Builder, Detail Enlargement, 1:1 detail will not generate error.

Detail Explorer, validates detail category codes against Windows folder naming restrictions.

Insert Detail Callout, Associate Detail Callout, respect Preferences setting regarding detail callouts within details, as flag for detail callouts being project specific.

Insert Detail Callout, placing into a detail with a Title, title text is filled out.

Save Detail, Save Block, Import Details, saves duplicate copy of metadata as xml file.

Insert Detail Template, sets backup variable to allow INSUNITS to be set to 0 by user.

Restore UCS, revised prompting for existing work areas; common work area helper functions commonized.

Save Block, Block Info, allow marking Dimscale blocks as being drawing in millimeter units.

Preferences, Convert Colors, commits changes to database before updating all block records; processing current file also update xml metadata.

Preferences, after reloading, will display preference set for active project if applicable.

Paperspace Reactor, Drawing Startup, system will not set LTSCALE unless drawing units are known.

Common XML Writer function, adds whitespace characters for easier user editing; Import Project compatible with revised LFX file format.

Common block insertion function, xml metadata files for arrows and callouts are created in their corresponding folders.

Change Layer Colors, better error handling for locked layers; ignores Xref layers.

Preferences, Convert Colors, conversion chart saved with preference set; block layers converted upon insertion.

Startup, OEM license validation that requires reactivation will not quit AutoCAD.

Startup, will not blank out project name from pulldown menu upon reloading Land F/X.
