You can use either the Draw Pipe button on the Place Drip toolbar, or the Draw Pipe button on the Irrigation Piping toolbar to connect drip equipment to the valve. You can also use the Highlight Station button on the Irrigation Piping toolbar to verify items are connected. Drip emitters and Drip Emitter Areas will be highlighted by the Verify Piping function as not connected to a valve.
In the case of hard-piping to individual emitters, the process is the same as for traditional lateral line piping. In the case of Dripline Areas, you just need to dead-end lateral line pipe into the dripline area. You can use the Highlight Station function to verify that you have correctly piped everything. For Single Outlet Emitter Areas, you can either dead-end the lateral line pipe inside of the drip area, indicating that the emitters will be hard-piped, but that you are not expressly showing that on the plan; or you can pipe to a Zone Control, indicating that above-grade drip tubing will be used to connect each individual emitter.

The system will scan the Xref for any plants that fall within the Drip Area, and will assign emitters to each one. Individual bubblers and emitters inside of a Drip Area will be added to the gallonage total. If you have more than one Zone Control in the area, the gallonage will be divided by the number of Zone Controls.
