Material Objects are graphics of physical material objects, with the intention of being inserted at full scale into Model Space. These graphics are considered to be “real life” objects and not diagrammatic or symbolic in nature.
As with Discipline Graphics, this function is also a fluid system of block management that the user can easily add to. In this manner the user can quickly add blocks to a material category, or create new category groups as required.

Only those category folders with blocks in them will show up in the Material Objects dialog box. The user can add categories or sub-folders by simply creating folders of the category name under the file location: LandFX/Blocks/Material_Objects.
The user can order and name categories as they wish. The Land F/X convention is to categorize by logical groupings and naming. As the user saves blocks into the system, you can save into the existing folder structure, or create new folders as desired. You may even create another lower level of folder hierarchy – for instance creating multiple folders beneath Pools, for various types of Pools.
Selecting a group of symbols will bring up a dialog box of symbols, with additional categories displayed in the upper left, and the symbols listed with both a graphic and textual representation.
