Hatch Patterns

 

Hatch Patterns is a convenient tool for quickly placing hatch patterns without the worry of scale. When the Land F/X Drawing Scale is set, simply select the hatch pattern desired and it will be placed at the proper scale factor.

 

 

The Hatch Patterns are standard AutoCAD hatch patterns and custom patterns that have been evaluated at a variety of different sizes to determine the best output size. As long as the Land F/X drawing scale is set, the size of the hatch pattern will be the same no matter what the scale of the drawing, or if you are in model or paper space.

Editing Hatch Patterns

If the End User wishes to adjust the default scale of a particular hatch pattern, select the View button when the pattern is highlighted.

 

Selecting “View” from a highlighted hatch pattern will bring up the View Hatch dialog box. Adjustments made to the scale or rotation will be reflected in any future use of this hatch pattern.

 

Adding Hatch Patterns

Land F/X provides a convenient tool to add hatch patterns, either custom user patterns, or standard AutoCAD patterns, to the Land F/X hatch pattern database. This is the Save Hatch function in the Con Doc menu.
