Starting a Land F/X Project

Watch the video on starting or opening Land F/X Projects and their control. Read the Topic.

Do This: From within AutoCAD, start a new Land F/X project, named and numbered as you wish. Now open the drawing 1.01 Base Drawing in the LandFX Tutorial folder. Go to Project Files and make your project the active. Verify the current project by going to the LandFX pulldown menu and see the name of the current project (your project’s name) within the pulldown.

 

Setting the Land F/X Drawing Scale

Do This: On the previous drawing where you made your project active, go to the Land F/X Scale function and set the scale for 1”=20’, and ensure it is in imperial units and not checked for Decimal Units. Verify the current project name and scale setting by going to the LandFX pulldown menu and see that the name and the scale are indicated within the pulldown.
