LAND F/X STUDENT CAD CONTEST
The 2010 Land F/X Student CAD Contest is a CAD-based design contest open to all current students. Submit any student project that you've completed using CAD with Land F/X.

Submittal Rules
- The design must have been done utilizing Land F/X.
- An individual or a group may submit only one project.
- Any student project that you’ve done with Land F/X may be submitted. Projects may be any size, type, and scope, and may utilize any element of Land F/X or the Land F/X SketchUp Connection. Some submission suggestions are: planting design, irrigation, details, SketchUp models including planting.
- You may submit any number of drawings/images for each project.
- Each submission must include the following:
- Completed entry form indicating the designer(s), university name, project name, and credit as it should appear on the award certificate; you must indicate whether the project is an individual or a group submission
- Digital copies of the project (PDF, JPG, TIF, etc.), as well as the DWGs and Land F/X data to verify the project was done using Land F/X, and SketchUp files (SKP) if applicable
- We welcome you to include any relevant story or history to the project, as that sometimes helps in the decision making process.
- Entries must be received by June 30, 2010.

Awards
Submissions will be judged by a panel of landscape architects, and scored on the following design evaluation criteria: innovation and quality of design, usage of Land F/X, and adherence to the submission rules. Individual names and University name will be obscured from judges. Awards will be given in the following manner:
- The Grand Prize winner for an individual submission will win an Apple iPAD and a free license of Land F/X ($1,995 value)
- The Grand Prize winner for a group submission will win $1,500 to be divided amongst the group members, and a free license of Land F/X ($1,995 value) for each member of the group (group size limited to 4 members)
- Three individual submission Runners-up and three group submission Runners-up will be given a free license of Land F/X ($1,995 value) for each individual or member of the group
All prize winners will also receive a certificate indicating they are a winner in the Land F/X Student Design Contest; further, any submission may be prominently displayed on the Gallery section of our web site, and in any number of brochures and other publications. Credit will always be given to the individuals of each design.
