Set your preferences as they relate to planting: plant code, label styles, default plant sizes.

Building a Plant Palette (3 min 25 sec)

Build a palette of plants to use in your project. Learn different methods for adding plants to your project, and how to edit plant information.

Placing Plants (3 min 20 sec)

See how trees, shrubs, shrub areas, and groundcovers are placed into the drawing. Copy and array tools facilitate plant placement.

Labeling Plants (2 min 15 sec)

There are four methods for labeling plants: label by group, connecting line, connecting arc, and single plant. Highlight plants to help see where plants are located in the drawing.

Accuracy and Revisions (3 min 30 sec)

Error checking is easy using the verify plant labels tool: errors are highlighted, and updates to plant info are made automatically.

Plant Schedule (4 min 45 sec)

Schedules are generated automatically and can be placed in model space or paper space, or can be sent to a spreadsheet. Info in the schedule can be customized, and multiple schedules can be created with different info in each.

Landscape Concept Plans (2 min 45 sec)

Design with groups of plants rather than individual plants in order to create conceptual plans. Assign palettes of plants for plant groups, and assign notes.
