Hands-On CAD Basics: Learning How to Draft in ACAD for Landscape
When: November 28, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.Where: Room 304B

Are you just getting into CAD design, or need a refresher? This interactive lab will provide you with the fundamentals of CAD, including a run-down of blocks and how to use them in your designs. Once you've completed the course, you'll be able to attach images and other files to your drawings as external references (Xrefs) and set up your irrigation plan properly. Laptops will be provided.
Hands-On Irrigation Design Within CAD for Landscape
When: November 28, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.Where: Room 304B
Instructor: Jake Lott
If you've already attended our CAD Basics training class or already have some CAD familiarity, pick up some more experience in this higher-level lab. You’ll exit this course with a thorough understanding of tools for placing and designing within AutoCAD, as well as advanced CAD irrigation design concepts such as piping, hydraulics, and revisions. Laptops will be provided.
About Jake Lott
Jake Lott has taught the CAD Learning Lab since the 2015 IA show. He graduated from Utah State University in 2010 with a degree in landscape architecture and has more than 22 years of experience in the irrigation design field. Jake plays a vital role in training, content creation, and technical support of the Irrigation F/X plugin for CAD.
