Sizing lateral line on a golf course. Have my minimum size set as 2-1/2" for both lateral and mainline, and the View Data on the pipe that was sized shows 2-1/2", but the pipe label shows 2" until I manually revise the pipe size in the View Data menu. What am I doing wrong?

Julie,
We actually just recently figured out what was happening. It looks like there was a minor bug that was looking at the pipe data lists a little differently when using VIH rotors. We have it scheduled to be fixed by tomorrow and a part of the next release later this week.

In the meantime, you can work around this by performing the following steps:

1- Open your pipe data and go to the mainline pipe data tab
2- Change your pipe class to match the Lateral Pipe class (in your case, change to class 200)
3- Adjust the pipe sizes to match what you would like the mainline sizes to be
4- Change the mainline class back to what you initially wanted (back to sch. 40)
5- Resize the mainline again and all pipe labels will change appropriately (just make sure to open your gate valves as needed)

Thanks for your patience, and let us know if you need any further help with this.

Also getting an issue with a 5" pipe label.

The equipment info on this pipe which is marked as 5" shows it's actually 2-1/2". And I have removed 5" as an option so the label 5" shouldn't even be showing up.

Julie,
Thank you for submitting your files. We will investigate and reach out to you once we know what might be causing this discrepancy.

Hi Jake,
It looks like the initial issue was fixed (thanks!). But when sizing my lateral line for the VIH, I'm having to do it twice in order for the system to recognize the correct size of the mainline between the looped master mainline and the isolation valve, and sometimes twice doesn't work right either. You can see in this video (sorry about the length, forgot to pause during calculations the first time). Also included the partially complete CAD file.
Got any ideas here?
Thanks,
Julie

Julie,

Thanks for posting that!
I was able to get it fixed. It will be part of the 15.06 update this week.
