I love the direction you are going with the colorization options. It's becoming more common to find that no matter how good a landscape design is a colored plan will help with the sale. There have been time where we've lost a design contract to a competitor just because they showed up with a colored plan.
So with that said I think it would be great to be able to add colorization to the area/volume reference notes. I think this would be similar to ground cover and shrub areas, but i'm not a programmer. Select a hatch and select a gradient. I see that you have done some work with "Site Colorization", I'll look into that in the meantime.
Another wish would be colorization of concept plants. Being able show a colored plan early on in the design process before any specific plants have been placed would be great.
And finally, I've only created a couple custom linetypes, and that was done by modifying existing codes, so I don't know how difficult it would be to figure out a way to write a code that would duplicate all lines/plines/arcs etc. and apply a linetype that looks like it was drawn by hand.

We are glad you like the work we have been putting into our Colorization! You should be happy to know that we currently are working through most of your suggestions! Yes, the Site Color tool will be your best bet for now if you want to place color in the rest of your plan. Take a look at the documentation showing how to do this.

You can place it within an area that has already been hatched with a RefNote, but you need to be very careful not to replace the hatch with the color. So, if you are prompted to replace the Land F/X data to an area, just say no and you should be safe.
You can absolutely assign a concept plant a color symbol. When using the Colorization tool to turn on your colors, simply look for the Concept group name and assign the symbol there.

Great to hear.
I found the concept colorization. I was looking to be able to assign color within the Concept Manager like the current Plant Info Dialogue Window. I'm thinking assign color based on "Plant Design Group"

That is a good thought. We will make it a part of our discussion as we look to improve the Concept Manager. However, the color is assigned to the "Design Group" currently. If you were to make your set of Concept Plants as part of a master template and assign everything a color, you could then import any Concept Group into a new project at a later time and the colors would already be assigned. This would make things go even quicker.
