We are immediately seeking a full-time, Entry Level irrigation CAD Draftsperson for our multi-disciplinary firm on the cutting edge of Landscape Architecture, Planning, and Architectural design in our Costa Mesa office. Our firm has offices located throughout California staffed with a diverse group of professionals working on an exciting range of projects including Urban Villages, Retail & Entertainment Centers, Model Homes, Master-Planned Residential Communities, Community Parks, and High Density Housing.
An Entry Level irrigation CAD Draftsperson plans, drafts, designs, and participates in the production of professional level irrigation design plans as part of complete landscape documentation packages for assigned projects. Inspects completed work for accuracy and compliance with instructions, ordinances, codes, and established standards. Prepares and maintains a variety of routine reports and records. Occasionally visits active construction/job sites to asses and evaluate irrigation. Occasionally assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of projects.

Hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 7:30 am to 5:30 pm (in office)
- Friday: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm (remotely)
To be considered your application and materials must show the following minimum qualifications:
Required Experience:
- One (1) year to three (3) years combined job related school and work experience with increasing levels of responsibility, preferably in a design setting
Required Skills and Abilities
- Perform basic math
- Proficient with AutoCAD
- Highly detail oriented
- Knowledge of methods and use of office equipment, supplies, and safe work practices
- Experience with Windows operating system
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Adjust to flexible assignments, often with short notice
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and staff
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Licenses:
- Valid California Driver's License
Preferred Sills and Abilities (in addition to those listed above):
- Experience with irrigation design and/or installation
- Experience with Land F/X
Pay is commensurate with experience

We'll take irrigation projects from prelim and design development, to construction documents and plan checks, all the way to complete installation at the job site.
