I haven't gone into this project for a couple of weeks (away in the Caribbean for a few weeks :)) and it appears now that someone else may have created another project for it or somehow corrupted this one. I have a head family that is being sized, but when I went to identify it (edit equipment), it alerts me that "No models defined for that series." and "Error accessing equipment data in the project." Somehow the software is calculating the flows. What is the easiest and most efficient way to determine what it is so we can re-associate it?

If I can determine the flow, I can probably determine the head family.

Ahh! I found this on line in the LandFX Knowledge Base:

Existing Irrigation Symbols in Drawing, but Data was Removed. How to Re-Associate?

"If you are not sure which model they are, the best solution involves using a few Command line tools. First, type LOL to load the Land F/X Administration functions. Then type EE to query one of the rotors."

This spit out that the heads were Rain Bird 1804-STD's Now I can associate them back into my project. Awesome.... Back to designing!

Steve,

Restore the backup project to a new project number in order to find that data. Then you can import it from there back into the true project.

Hi Amanda,

Thanks for your response. I'm reluctant to restore a backup since someone may have modified and added equipment since then. It's not listed in the irrigation manager nor is it located in the irrigation schedule. But somehow LandFX knows what the flows are and the pipe can be sized. If LandFX can tell what the flow is, and I can derive that information, then I can probably determine the head and re-associate the head to the one that I believe that it is.

If there's not an easy way to determine the head through the drawing, I may have to find an older version of the PM and restore it as a different name then open a blank drawing and set it to the restored, renamed PM so I can see the head. This seems like a long way around it though. LandFX is sizing the pipe, so "it knows" the flow somehow. I just need that piece of information. Can you or Jake let me know how to pull that from the drawing?

Have you been through the solutions in this documentation page?
Error Accessing Equipment Data in the Project (Selecting or Editing Irrigation Equipment)

It sounds like you might have tried some of them but not all yet.
