While working on long linear projects, such as roadways, inevitably I have a hatch pattern that crosses a matchline which delineates two different viewports in paper space. I want the plant callouts on either side of that matchline to only account for the area on either side of the matchline. Is there a way to do this without having to redraw the polylines?

Hussein, Unfortunately, no. We are tied to the same restrictions as AutoCAD when it comes to the way hatches function. So, you will need to make sure the hatches stop and start according to where you plan to have your matchlines go.

Hussein, Take a look at the link below. This little video will show how using the Trim and Join tool can help expedite what you need to do, to make these areas separate. Hope this helps for the next time! https://vimeo.com/185083760
