Hello,

I'm using the Alphanumeric tree/shrub symbols in Land F/X, and I'm running into an issue with the plant code placement.

On the symbols I'm using, the trunk is represented by a hatch circle at the center of the block, which is also where I set my insertion point so crews know exactly where to place the plant. The problem is the plant code text lands right on top of that center point, so it overlaps the trunk hatch and becomes hard to read.

What I'd like is for the trunk hatch to stay exactly where it is (centered on the insertion point), but for the code text to sit a bit lower, just underneath the circle instead of on top of it. I want this to apply automatically every time I assign a new plant to the symbol, not something I have to fix by hand on each individual block after placing it.

I tried opening the block in the Block Editor and moving what I thought was the tag, but it turns out that object is just plain text, not a real attribute. So once I moved it, it stayed fixed with the old plant's code baked in, and when I assigned a new plant to the same symbol, a second code appeared back in the original spot instead of replacing it - so now I end up with two codes showing on the same symbol. Could you let me know if there is a right way to reposition where the code shows up relative to the trunk, so it consistently appears below the hatch for any plant I assign, without this duplication issue?

Thank you in advance
Dimitris,

The way we engineered the Alphanumeric symbols, it creates a text object at the center of the symbol. We do this to allow the maximum space possible for the text.
But we have received multiple requests to allow a trunk indicator in the symbol, so we will soon be supporting an existing piece of text in the symbol, exactly as you were assuming.
This should be implemented by the end of the year.
