Wondering if there is a way to create an alternate pipe transition symbol without eliminating the default symbol. I tried saving the default symbol "LAFX-CZ001.dwg" as "LAFX-CZ002.dwg" and editing the symbol to match our office standard, but I do not see a way to direct LandFX to use the alternative symbol in the Equipment Manager. With other equipment, such as heads and valves, double clicking on the slide opens up the symbol selection dialogue.

Any assistance with this item is appreciated.

Daniel,
I was actually surprised to see that the system does not allow you to pick your desired symbol by clicking on the thumbnail image once you have added the Pipe Transition Point (PTP) to your Irrigation Manager. We have it on the list to fix this so you can pick from the available symbols that you may have created. There generally was no need to have more than one type of PTP within the design so typically you would just change the default symbol to your office standard look.

Just curious, is there a reason you are needing more than one PTP in the drawing?

In any case, the work around is pretty simple. You say you have made a second symbol type by saving as "LAFX-CZ002.dwg", so just make sure there is a preview slide that is created as well, and from your Irrigation Manager add a second PTP to the project. The system will actually pre assign that PTP with the next available symbol (which in your case will be the LAFX-CZ002.dwg). You will then be able to place into your design with the correct symbol.
