I'm aware that you can copy plant along a polyline, but you cannot switch between plants with q/e whilst doing this. The array feature lets you choose a polyline, even if it's curved, but the array does not fit the shape of the line. Is it possible to either allow q/e during copy along polyline, or have an option where the array feature can also be used along curved polylines?
The reason I ask is that I often create dense undulating buffer areas, and I usually have to cycle between 6 or 7 plant species. Placing them manually is a timely task, even if I'm using copy along polyline and mimic to change some of them. It would be even neater to have a curved polyline array AND be able to switch plants at the same time. Mind blown.

Aaron, that is something we also have our eye on, in a way. We're still working on a smarter fill option for block symbols.
In the meantime, try paint mode with the x-hair option. You can align the paint mode array to the curve as you go.
