You are correct! We always advise waiting until the first service pack is released before adopting the latest AutoCAD – as the initial service pack release often fixes large bugs and issues with the initial release.
However, Land F/X already works with AutoCAD 2018 as a plugin. So if you do become an early adopter at least you can breath easy that Land F/X will work for you.
