Can a non LandFX user turn on the zone colors?  I have no idea how this works, as the the layers all show up as yellow in the layer manager.

I've got someone who needs the cad and needs to show the zone colors.

Thanks!

Tom,

Yes, these zone color layers are all set to Yellow, but that shouldn't affect the color of the actual content. Each item on a given layer is set to a particular True Color, not ByLayer. The only way the content in the plan would look yellow, is if that contents color got moved to ByLayer. Otherwise, they should be able to see the colors just fine when plotting.

Thanks Jake.  So, how does one turn these colors on and off, when one doesn't have a "colorize zones" command available?

They purchase Irrigation F/X so they have the "Easy" buttons ;)

In short, the colorize zones tool traces all linework, puts things on its own unique layer, and colorizes that linework with true color. So they would need to do all these steps manually.

If one with Irrigation F/X runs the Colorize Zones option, then one without can simply toggle on/off these layers from the properties manager.

I like the LandFX “Easy” buttons.
