When trying to insert concept graphics (lines, nodes, etc.) They are only showing up in the gray shade instead of the color selected in the options. I have followed the troubleshooting guide about deleting the files so it would load new ones. The previews look correct now instead of the large poor quality previews but it is still not showing up correct on the plan when trying to place them.

I can manually change them after the fact by using block editor then editing the individual components and changing the color, properties, etc. but I don't think that is the intent for these tools. So any thoughts on what I am missing?
Thanks in advance.

The grey concept blocks issue was caused by the old layer name for the fill layer in the preference set not recognising new layer name in the concept graphics.

The fix is very easy. You simply need to rename the layer in your preference set, and then purge the old block definitions out of the drawing.

We've created a new documentation page with step-by-step instructions on how to resolve this issue.

Hi Brandon,

Can you please try replicating the issue with the same project using the your clean template or the acad.dwt template?

If the issue still occurs in a blank drawing, use our technical support tool to send in the drawing for us to review, and I'll have a look at it and troubleshoot it with you.

How to Submit a Support Ticket:

If you can't replicate the issue in a blank drawing, then you're going to need to look into cleaning your drawing, because it may be corrupt. Here's a page outlining how a drawing can become corrupt, and what you can do to clean it.

Drawing Corruption Explained:

The drawing that I started having trouble was the acad.dwt template with an aerial inserted and then attempting to do concept lines on top of aerial. I have created a new file with the acad.dwt and nothing but one sample concept line and it is still having the "grayscale" issue. I am sending you the file via support ticket.

Thanks.
