I know you are able to copy a group in the concept manager. Are you only able to modify the spacing and fill % of that copied group?
The group that is being copied is for shrub areas. We are wanting to have the copied group to have a smaller pots size as well spacing and fill %, Is this possible?

Thank you,

Wes
Wes,
The spacing and %Fill in the Concept Manager is unique to each design group. The spacing can even be different than that of the actual design plant that it's referencing.
However, I don't tend to recommend using the same code plant for different sizes across different concept groups. Even if the system can keep up with that, anybody reading the plant will start to have a hard time.

Create a new design plant with a new code for a new pot size, and add that to the mixes where it's needed.

Great to see you digging into the new tools. You caught my webinar on September 28 right? Here's the recording link: Concept Planting Tools

I hope our team will see you this year at the ASLA Expo!

Thanks Amanda,

I do have another question now. Can the plant concept callouts show the breakdown of what is inside that grouping as opposed to only saying Perennial complex A and an area?

Thank you,

Wes
Wes,

Type USERR1 into the commandline, and make it equal 1.
This will turn on the mleader concept label (as long as there aren't any old non-mleader concept labels in the drawing). Please note that it only currently worked with the group and single label tools.

This is a temporary required commandline setting until this changed improvement is finalized.

Hi Amanda,

We are getting a lot of use out of this label option, I know it's in development but can we get it to use the plant code as an option?

Thanks,

Michael

Michael,

Our thinking is that we need to add a Concept Plant Label dialog box to the Plant Preferences, with the various options controlled by checkboxes.  This should get implemented later this year.
