I edited 2 default plant blocks, used the fx_saveblock tool and they appear in the correct folders in the land fx sub folders. However, they are not appearing in the plant manager. Has anyone else had this issue?
Sydney,

Our color blocks behave a little differently. The dialog only allows choosing one of our existing blocks. So to customize, you would need to edit one of ours, and then recreate the preview image. This is covered here:

https://www.landfx.com/docs/planting/customize-planting/plant-symbols/3519-edit-color.html

We will be re-engineering our color process next year, to enable easier customization.
In the meantime, you are welcome to share with us what sort of color symbols we are lacking, so that we can best account for that.

Hi Jeremiah, that is what I did. I took the LAFX-TREE-COLOR-F102-00 and the LAFX-SHRB-COLOR-A103-00, edited both and did the saveblock from there. Are you saying that I can only edit the default blocks and then essentially override the original plant?
We wanted a simple color tree and shrub without the double line and just a single line.
Thanks,

Correct, you need to just edit existing blocks.

It's a great point, we should have a simple circle option.

Hi Jeremiah, Yes that's I did! But I think I understand what you're saying in that I can't create a new plant block even if it was made from a default plant block and added to the plant manager. I want to keep the default and thats why I created a new one. It would be great to have a simple circle shrub and tree.
Thanks,
