Would like to be able to set the mainline pipe size when inserting mainline pipe. It takes a lot of time to edit each section of pipe after it is inserted.
I generally size mainline pipe and do hydraulic calculations before starting sprinkler layout. I know the mainline pipe size I want before it insert it.

By design the system does not apply a size to mainline until the hydraulic calculations have been validated.
So if you have a set size of pipe that you are after, you need to generate the flow that will result in that size.
You can use either a Schematic area or a Cap to generate the desired flow.
