Is there a way to detach all unreferenced xrefs at one time? I get a lot of dwgs with multiple concept jpegs attached.

Brian,

You can detach all unreferenced xrefs at once, among those xrefs that are directly attached to the drawing that you're in. You can use the shift or CTRL keys on your keyboard to select multiple xrefs.

Now, you might be asking because you're probably finding that the detach option is greyed out when you do that.

You cannot detach nested xref - those xrefs that are actually attached to the drawing that you're in via another xref that's directly attached to your drawing.

Use the file tree view in the xref manager to see nested xrefs. To detach those, you will need to open their xref and detach them there, save that xref file and reload it in your main drawing to have them detach there, too. The tree view button is at the top right of the xref manager palette.
