How can I fix the issue of the bubble callout circles from scaling incorrectly when placed on a sheet?

Ah yes, sorry, nothing to do with MLeader style. I mistakenly thought the callouts were large as well. But it's just the blocks in the schedule.
This is just a block scaling issue, affecting the Lafx-Tag-Bubble-L block. It looks like they are 12 times too large, so it's just a unit issue.
Unfortunately I have to mention, this is a classic example of why we highly recommend a single dwg per detail sheet. There are just too many moving parts when needing to troubleshoot an issue by having multiple layouts per drawing.
But the issue is that in either the sheet file, or one of the other details placed, that block has either been edited or incorrectly marked as Feet units, and is thus scaled 12 times too large.
The quickest solution to start with, is to just Purge that block out of the drawing completely. But of course that will require deleting all details off of all sheets, which might be unacceptable.
So next, try redefining the block. You could go to Modelspace, place a detail template, and then place a detail bubble callout and schedule. Finally, type REDEFINEBLOCK and click on the block in the schedule.
If that still didn't fix it, then it's time to put on the gloves and get dirty. We know the block that is responsible (Lafx-Tag-Bubble-L), best to start at the beginning - in Landfx/Blocks/Graphics/Callouts, open it up and confirm 3 things: No proxy notice when opening the file; from the UNITS dialog it is marked as Unitless; and in measuring it, it is about 0.3 units in diameter. Once all that is confirmed, we know the source block is good, and we can move to the next.
After that... well actually we're back to square one - that block would need to be purged completely out of the drawing. At this point it is due to either the drawing being different units than the detail, or 2007 version proxy objects in the sheet file. And in either case, the block just needs to be purged out. So, coming full circle - these things happen, and a detail sheet might need all details deleted and purged. So really the best solution is to just recreate that detail sheet the way it should have been in the first place, on a nice clean fresh dwg all by itself.

It could be due to proxy objects, or it could be an MLeader style was created wrong, or it could even be due to differing units between Modelspace and Paperspace.
Beyond that we would either need an example drawing, or some more context — I’m assuming it’s this one sheet, correct? It works in other drawings? Does it work in a brand new sheet with only that detail placed?
It inevitably is just a matter of purging out the right thing, or renaming an MLeader style.

I'm not sure what you mean by the MLeader style was created wrong. When I created the detail, I used the Bubble Callout tool for the callouts and schedule, which should be using the preferences. I also drew the detail at 1:1 scale in model space and used the Detail Templates.

Hi Jeremiah, I have read through the thread above and followed all of the steps. I'm still having my detail bubble callouts come in 12 times too large. Detail units are set to Architectural, inches and Callout blocks LAFX-TAG-BUBBLE and LAFX-TAG-BUBBLE-L are set to Architectural, unitless. Any suggestions that you can offer?

You didn't attach a file with a callout 12 times too large, so I can only guess.
But there's a clear red flag, in that both of your callout files have been modified, and are absolutely crawling with proxy objects. It is absolutely imperative that you turn on the Proxy Info dialog so that you can be aware when proxies are spreading to files. If you Nuke the callout files to remove the proxies, it should resolve the scaling issue.

Thanks! Nuking them worked. One of my staff modified the original callouts a while back and I'm just now learning LandFX. I am getting used to how the software works and the benefits of nuking files. I wasn't getting any proxy messages when I opened them...not sure why. Thanks again for your help!
