I'm not sure what you are referring to that is annoying.
When you place the first detail onto a sheet, you will need to assign the sheet if it hasn't been already.
If you are then copying a layout after a sheet has been assigned to it, you may be receiving a message confirming that you want to reassign the sheet.

In any case, you can avoid these by going to the Project Manager screen ahead of time, and assigning the proper sheet to the layout tab.

Well, I'm guilty of sliding by on ignorance. I FINALLY went into the documentation and read up on sheet indexing, etc. Now I understand, and I know how to fix it when I'm told about how things are already associated with other things.
