Somehow our detail template is not lining up with the window that it's supposed to come in with. The tic's at the lower left and right of the template are set at 0,0 (left corner) and 8,0 (at the right). But when we bring in a template the non-plot window of which the lower left corner becomes the insert point is not aligned directly on the ticks in our detail template master. How can we resolve this?

Seaweed,
The Detail Template size within your Preference Set should match the tick distance in the actual detail template file. So in your case, both locations should read 8. If these are matching and you are experiencing a shift in where the template is being inserted, you might want to check your INSBASE to make sure it is also set to 0,0. If you need to, please send in your detail template file and your Preference Set so we can take a look at what is going on.

Jake,
You were correct. Somehow the detail template had an INBASE set to -0'-0.0424",-0'-0.0509",0'-0.0000... Not 0,0. How it got there I don’t know. I didn’t even know about that command. We set it to 0,0,0 and saved and the template. It works well now. You are a wizard!
