Entry level landscape designer / drafter and Mid level designer

CVL Consultants is seeking two talented and team oriented individuals for positions within our firm. The first position will include drafting and entry level design responsibilities within our Landscape Architecture Department, but may also include support for our Planning Department. The second position will require professional landscape architecture design experience on master planned communities, hospitality, and resort work. The successful candidates will be assisting our team in the preparation of site analysis and field inventory documents, conceptual design exhibits, and construction drawings.

Qualifications of all Candidates
The ideal candidates would be required to have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Landscape Architecture program. (Strong candidates with a Horticulture or Planning degree may be considered)
• Proficiency in Autocad 2014 or later
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a multi-discipline team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
Additionally, the followings skills would be preferred, but not required:
• Professional experience working with LandFX, Civil 3D, Revit, 3D Studio Max, or Sketchup
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator

Qualifications Specific to Each Position
Additionally, entry level design candidates would be expected to have:
• 1 year experience in a professional design firm
While candidates for the project designer position would be expected to have:
• 5-10 years’ experience in a professional design firm
• Strong planting and hardscape design skills
• RLA preferred, but not required
