We are trying to show the distribution laterals for an area that is "Area for Drip emitters" the emitters and the calculation are working great but we want to show a flexible PVC pipe as the lateral, is there a generic "Flexible PVC" that we can then add more information to the description such as a IPS flexible PVC and possibly a brand in the description? I see Spartan but we need something that is more generic?

thoughts?

thank you as always.

Bob,

You could use any additional class of pipe for this. Simply edit the description as desired.
Leave your Drip Emitters areas connected as you normally would, and then just draw this additional pipe within the area as desired. Just make sure you don't accidentally connect it to any other pipe. You can leave it pretty far away, and then just manually move the end point to make it look like it is connected.

AHHH... I see now, it is a little confusing because the pull down does not show up in the legend, the next two boxes dictate what shows up in the legend. Is there a way to add "Flexible PVC", or "Custom" to the pull down? I don't want to tell the team to grad any pipe then have someone grab ductile iron and overwrite the description and get strange readings on the irrigation calculations or would it be best to tell them to use the Spartan 100 and overwrite it because it is the closest thing to what we are using?

thanks.
Bob
Yes, grab the closest.
But note it won't be used in any calculations.

And we will explore adding flexible PVC to the list in the future.
