LFX Team,

When placing full heads, the total coverage area does not seem to come out correctly. Even when the heads are placed at full distance, the coverage is shown really short. I have attached an image.

By the way, I am using TORO Precision nozzles. I'm not sure if this is an issue with other manufacturers.

Good news, it's not a Land FX Bug.
Bad News, we caused the blocks problem on our own drawing.

So after a quick call with Jake (following up on the ticket) he found that we somehow managed to redefine the radius blocks within the spray/rotary heads on our drawing. Instead of redefining every block (tedious), we're gonna delete all the spray head blocks that have been placed in the drawing, purge, and place them all over again.

Silver lining: Jesus is gonna get a chance to use the 'Copy Along Polyline' tool from Land FX for the first time. Should be able to place all those spray/rotary heads in no time after he watches the Power Tip video tomorrow.

Thanks again, Jake, for the really fast response. Your support, as always, is spot on.

Kindly,
CadMonkey

Jesus,
It might be best if you could send in your drawing and project data files so we can take a look. I checked the backend data to a few of the toro spray options and things seemed fine, but we might be looking at different models. Once we receive your files we will let you know our findings.

Jake,

Thanks for the quick reply. I followed the instructions on how to submit a support ticket with my files included, however, when LFX is trying to e transmit and put together the zip file, I get an error message saying "AUTOMATION ERROR. DESCRIPTION WAS NOT PROVIDED". See attached image.

Jesus,

If it's crashing out on you while using the built in tool you will need to put the files together manually. We'll need a copy of the preference set, Land F/X project file any applicable ctb files and dwg's being used. Once you have these files you can zip them up (if you're unsure how check here) and you can create a ticket by entering your Support ID on the following page. Just make sure to attach your zip file while filling out the ticket form.

Jesus,

Yeah, I'm having the same problem with any full head in the drawing. Even previously placed full heads have had the radius reduced to the minimum allowed. I'll put together the files and submit a ticket for you.
