After details have been placed on a sheet is there an easy way to add one, in sequence, without having to remove the existing ones and place them again to get the detail letter to update? For example, details A through J have already been placed and I'd like to add a new detail between C and D meaning the new detail lettering goes now A through K. This means anything from D on would change forward one letter. Right now I have to remove D through J and then add then in again so I get the letters to show up correctly. Is there an easier way to update the detail lettering? It would be nice to be able to "tell" FX CAD that I'd like to place the new detail between C and D and then have the already placed details update their letter either automatically or by pressing "Refresh".
Jon,

Yes, there is an easier way than deleting and re-placing details.
- Double click the detail to open the attribute editor.
- Click the Detail Number attribute and change that you what you want.
- Quickly do that for all details on the sheet, leaving the numbers/letter open for the details you'd like to place.
- Place the new details with the desired numbers/letters.
- refresh the detail manager to make sure the renumbering syncs with the project data so callouts update, too.

Automatic renumbering is a potential future feature on our wishlist.

Thanks,
-Amanda
