unfortunately, we have done the correction and it is still locking up. we have had this happen multiple times and have followed the steps each time. It does not help. mostly it resolves itself after a day or so.
It may take some experimentation with different driver versions, as the KB notes. Further, it is not a single correction, as there are two other distinct steps mentioned beyond replacing the video driver.
