Has anyone else requested the option of inserting an "NA" for details in schedules? Currently we're using text in that column stating the location as "NA" (meters for instance), but when we've added or taken equipment away from the legend and regenerated it the "NA" text doesn't line up properly. Sometimes we miss it till the QC review.
Please let me select the option of NA for project elements that show up in the schedule but do not have a detail associated to them.

I asked the same (or similar) question but also want the option to put "by others" along with "N/A".

That is actually another high priority wishlist item! I'll add you to that as well. I'm sure you've already discovered that you can edit the schedule to change it, but that the change will not hold through a schedule refresh.
You could also leave that detail blank, and fill in the words with the text tool on the F/X Site Ribbon, choosing the Schedule Text style so it matches. Place the text over the schedule block, not within it. Then when you update the schedule, at worst that bit of text is mis-aligned.
