Hi all,

Maybe this is more of a standard AutoCAD question, but how does one set up a LandFX dim standard that uses a foot symbol suffix for all of the dimensions except for angular.  (Amanda?)

Seaweed, ask and ye shall receive!

Further down you'll see the method for having something like 6.5'.

What that KB doesn't show, is exactly what you ask -- how to have the Suffix *not* appear on angular dimensions.

I tried creating a new Angular dimstyle in the Dimstyle Manager, but the Suffix setting is greyed out.  So it seems the trick is, you need to create both the Linear and Angular clones of your master dimstyle, and then set the suffix just to the the Linear one.

Thank you Jer. Could this be a future power tip? I'm still not clear as t ohow to have these variables located in the LandFX saved dimstyle. I imagine that it includes multiple overrides, but would like to see it done. Maybe Paul Houchin could do it. His dimensioning webinar was real informative. It would seem that a quick 5 minutes (or probably less) would go a long way. It would be a good accompaniment to the seminar. He could also touch on how to not show the suffix in the angular dimension. Amanda and Jake helped me out with this already. There wasn't enough time to cover this in the dimensioning webinar.

I've routed it over to documentation to address.

It'll be taken care of by the end of the week.
