Nibal,

One thing you can do, is to create a Template with these settings.

To do so, start a new project, and set just the pipe data and source data to your liking.  You could also add some other equipment that is also consistent.

Then in the Projects screen, click the Save as Template button, and give it a name.

Once that is done, when you start a new project, you can base it on that template, to bring in all of that data.

Nibal,

There is not a way to import these settings from one project to another. For your Pipe Data, you can set your defaults within a given Preference Set, which will get you the pipe classes/sizes that you need as you start a new project so you are not changing them every time. Your Source data is also cleared out and starts as a clean slate since you are generally not going to have the exact numbers across different sites.

If you could explain a little more to what you are trying to achieve, we may be able to help point you in the right direction.

Regards,

Jake,

I set the pipes as classes and sizes and this is working fine.

but for example, in all my projects i need to use non potable uPVC schedule 80 pipes, can i import this instead of choosing again the type.

also  i write description of the pipes to be shown in the irrigation schedule and this is fixed in most of my projects.

Regarding the source data, its also related to the description which should be shown in the irrigation schedule,

that most of the time the description of the type of the source(irrigation water tank) is fixed.

and in each time I am supposed to write the description of the pipes and the source.

hope this explains better what i need to do.
