Responsibilities:
An opportunity exists Stantec's Irvine, CA office for a highly motivated Landscape Architectural Designer with an emphasis on irrigation design. Reporting to a Project Manager, you will be responsible for CAD design and drafting, preparation of tender sets and contract documents, permit drawings, concept and design development documents, construction detailing, schematic illustrations, construction inspection, and more.
Qualifications:
The perfect candidate would have a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree or similar certification combined with two years of relevant experience in a professional office environment. You are a self-motivated individual possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
You are experienced in irrigation design, and have a desire to expand your knowledge and skill set in this area of practice. You are proficient in AutoCAD, LandFX, SketchUp, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. You have creative graphic capacity, and strong written & verbal communication skills. But there is no PERFECT candidate.
