HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL
And wish you had great holidays..

Please i have this issue:
when i generate an irrigation schedule in every project am working on:
the layer of the dripline area cover is generated to be L-ANNO-SCHD-TEXT
instead of LI-DPLN-COVR
and i need every time i regenerate the schedule to edit the schedule block manually to fix this..

1- why soes this issue happen?
2- how can i fix it?

Thank you

That makes perfect sense, thank you.
The schedule should check the Dripline Border layer, and if it is set to print, the border in the schedule should appear on the same layer.
I will get this on this wishlist to be added later this year.
In the meantime the best workaround I can think of would be as follows:
- explode the schedule, delete all but the dripline hatches, and move the borders to the correct layer.
- generate another schedule
- create a wipeout to cover the dripline hatches in the new schedule
- move the customized patterns over the wipeout to line up as necessary
- when regenerating the schedule, send it to back behind the wipeout, and adjust the position of the corrected patterns as necessary.

Nibal,

This is because the LI-DPLN-COVR layer defaults to a non-plot layer. So in order to guarantee a consistent plotted rectangle around each hatch in the schedule, we use the schedule text layer.

Great..
now, how can i change the schedule text layer to the default layer LI-DPLN-COVR to be generated automatically in the irrigation schedule..

in my projects i need to PRINT the DPLN COVR LAYER..

thanks again

I am not fully understanding what the issue is. There normally should not be any problem with a border to the dripline hatch in the schedule.
If you wish to make the dripline border layer plottable in the plan, you can set this in the Preferences screen. There on the General tab you can edit any layer to plot and assign a suitable color.
Or if you can explain further, why the border in the schedule must be on the exact same layer as the one in the drawing.

I want it the exact layer in the schedule because i want to show it printable with its color..
whats am doing now that if i leave it the schrdule text layer its printed as black due to our company set..
and i need every time i regenerate the irrigation schedule to edit the block and change the layer to the default one tio be printed in its color..

hope this clarify more..

Thanks
Nibal,

No, I'm afraid I'm still not understanding why -- why does the border in the schedule have to print the same as the border in the plan?

Dear Jeremiah,

we print all the irrigation plans even the irrigation schedules in colors(except the details).
and the L-ANNO-SCHD-TEXT is printed in black in our office standerds..
we dont print the irrigation schedule in black..
so i need the border in the schedule to be printed in its color the blue shade exactly as its printed in the plan..

is it clear now?
