LANDSCAPE DESIGNER
Ceara Studio, Inc. is a boutique firm located in San Francisco, focusing on high end residential work throughout the Bay Area. We are seeking a passionate and driven landscape designer who is enthusiastic and motivated for a unique position to be part of a growing studio. The ideal candidate will work directly with the firm’s founder in project development from schematic design to construction documentation.
Responsibilities
Prepare site plans, permit sets, and documentation sets, following the firm’s standards.
Be a key contributor to the overall production of all deliverables on various projects and phases within the firm.
Prepare presentation and documentation for schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
Undertake project research relative to permitting, materiality, and design intent.
Assist in research for product and construction methods related to projects.
Work closely with the Founder to complete projects for client presentations and meetings.
Collaborate on the design of high-end residential projects.
Embrace and follow established company production standards and procedures.
Contribute to the firm’s technical knowledge base and standard systems for continuing growth and improving efficiencies.
Work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid remote environment.
Qualifications
3-5 years of work experience in landscape architecture.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
Previous experience with LandF/X is preferred or must be willing to learn.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and Sketchup is desired but not necessary.
Experience preparing construction drawings and specifications.
High attention to detail and ability to perform quality control.
Able to collaborate remotely across multiple platforms using multiple mediums.
Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills.
Flexibility and taking initiative.
Compensation
Commensurate with experience.
Part-Time or Full-Time position based upon abilities and experience.
Hybrid/Remote position.
Capabilities of commuting and working all over the bay area.
