Preston Greenhouse & Garden Center, a 40 year old company and Retail grower of Annuals and Perennials, Is seeking a Residential Landscape Designer for a growing Landscape Division.
3 yrs. experience minimum required in designing Residential Landscapes including outdoor kitchens, fire features, water features, Hardscapes, Retaining Walls, Landscape Lighting, Pavillions, pergolas, gazebos, fountains, Swimming Pools, etc.
Must be self motivated, in meeting and greeting clients to discuss Landscape needs.
Must be knowledgeable of Trees, Shrubs, Evergreens, Perennials and Annuals within our zone (6b)
Must be able to design them into a Landscape Layout.
Knowledge of FX CAD, Planting FX and Irrigation FX, Sketchup, Photoshop, Progject Management software, Microsoft office, knowledge of surveying using Carlson Survey, and SurvPC would be helpful.
Be able to close sales and be able to communicate with crew leaders, and staff on implementing installation of design and all aspects of project management. Must be able to provide a resume and cover letter along with a portfolio of previous work.
Metro Louisville Area (Kentucky) / Southern Indiana and surrounding counties.
