Lateral line color post-sizing

Hi team!

Would someone please remind me how to set my preferences so that when I size lateral line pipe, it colors each size a different color?  Currently when I draw lateral it's neon green, and after I size it, it's still neon green. It used to change to purple (3/4"), blue (1"), etc and it would be awesome to have that preference setting back so at a glance I can see what's been sized vs not.

Julie,

 

That means either the Project or the Preference Set are set to Read-Only.

You can click the Manage button to see if it is the Preference Set, and if it is set to By User, who can make the change.

In your Irrigation Preferences, it's the option in the upper right, "Color-code sized pipe".

Thanks Jer, but it's greyed out.  Both when I click in the ribbon and FX_PREFERENCESIRRIGATION.

You were writing your explanation at the same time I stumbled on the preference set permissions!  Indeed, the current preference set I'm using is locked by another user which also explains why I was never able to update my valve callout symbol in the schedule either.

I will work to create a preference set that functions the way WE need it to!  I have no idea how this one came to propagate through our stuff...  Thank you!
