Is there a way to add more types of pipe other than the (2) For Lateral and the (3) for Mainline?
Thanks.

Bob,
You should be happy to hear that we already have it on our list to add more lateral, mainline and sleeve pipe options. I am curious to see what exactly you would be using these extra types for, and why?

a new client that i am working with differentiates laterals by use... all tree laterals, turf laterals, palm laterals, and drip laterals are all on separate layers to do take-offs and to help the contractor differentiate the lateral use.

Bob,
If it is simply for a visual delineation of zones, make sure you are utilizing our colorize zones feature of the program. This handy tool will make each zone a different color automatically so that you can see where each zone goes. Great for Irrigation zone controller maps.

the issue that the client has is that the client wants to be able to differentiate the pipe types in a black and white drawing with line weight and line style, the other issue is producing the legend with the linetype styles and length...
Thank you Jake, you answer is great for as-builts and shows graphically but color is expensive for working/construction documents.
