So I broke out the concept graphics tools for the first time. I really like the different, scale-able, and color-able line options. However, I really wish this was easier to use. I wish the lines would act like regular polylines instead of discrete objects. IOW, there's no grabbing a pick point and pulling part of a line over, the whole object moves.

And arrows... in my drawing, I need to use arrows to show pipe flow direction. Putting an arrow at either end, as the system asks, doesn't work for obvious reasons. Using the arrows from the discipline graphics tool is problematic, because I want the arrow symbol to match the color of my fancy concept line. Strangely, the first arrow symbol I used matched one of my lines, as did the second, but I have no idea how that happened and I can't recreate it. See the attached to see what I mean.

Drawing a short section of a given line, and answering "yes" to put arrows at either end of the line, the exploding this line and copying/rotating that arrow symbol works, but obviously, sure is clumsy. And a pain.

So you can see what I'm asking: concept lines that are easier to manage, and an easier way to do arrows.
Tom,

We do have plans to allow converted Concept Lines into their source polyline, to aid in making changes.
And with that, would come the ability to convert existing polylines, so you would be able to use your existing pipe segments.

As for the Arrows, note that you can access them from Discipline Graphics, Arrows. After placing one, you can use the Site Color tool to easily apply some color to it, and then manually copy it around.
