Well.... I have a huge project with 20 meters, all of which are supplied by HDPE. For some reason, the service line pipe material for all of them changed to Sch. 40 CPVC. Not a big deal to change them back, but it shouldn't have changed in the first place!

And the pipe manager... probably my fault for not paying enough attention, but I thought that once I set my pipe preference defaults, they would stay the same with every project, unless I changed the pipe info for a particular project. I think I missed a directive from a past update to go update my pipe preferences (which I just did), but why would they have changed in the first place?

Okay, enough whining.....

Tom,
The pipe classes don't change, unless you go into the Pipe Data or Source Data dialog. As we reconstructed and improved the pipe data and all of the beautiful options we allowed the older classes to stay put until you opened the pipe data dialogs. So if you did have an older combo pipe class assigned as your default and then went into the pipe data dialog, things would change. As a safe guard for your project, confirming your pipe types for all POC should be a relatively manageable task based on the additional time savings you encounter on a project of that size.

Let us know if you have any other questions and we would love to help you out!
