My colleagues and I are having trouble with the plant callouts not being able to include a mask under text. We use the simple mtext callouts (not the square attribute block) but can't seem to get a mask behind the text.
Is this something that's offered that we're not finding or is this something that can be added?
We're also wanting these callouts to be multileaders, similar to the Reference notes callouts, to make it easier to move callouts around as necessary.
Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

We have information on both of these issues in the knowledge base section on our website. You can open up the label files for planting callouts and add background masks to them if you wish. The steps to this are provided in the first link below.
In order to move plant callouts after placing them, just use the Group Label tool. This allows you to grab the callout and move it and the leader and extension line will move as well.
