Is there a way to add to or change the name of plant schedule categories (ie. tree, shrub, shrub areas, groundcover)? It's not a huge deal, but I'm used to breaking out my perennials into a separate category.

You cannot change the names of the plant categories, but you can assign plants to subcategories within each main category. Take a look at the link below on how to do this.
