Hi ,

We have a problem when using density at generating planting schedule . Within plant setiigngs we have set spacing at 250mm, and when we check density at the Schedule palette, the Schedule generates density of 16,6/m2 instead of 16/m2. Same goes with other plants/spacings... 500mm , goes into 4.2/m2 (insted od 4/m2).
Can we fix this or is it a bug somwhere in the software calculations. There must be a simple solution as this is the basic math... ;)

That is covered by our discussion of plant spacing calculations here:

https://www.landfx.com/docs/planting/planting-getting-started/1454-natural-spacing.html

With Square Spacing, you will see 16/sq.m,
Triangular Spacing has 18.5/sq.m,
and our default Natural Spacing has 16.6/sq.m.

As that article mentions, we recommend you manually fill the bed with symbols as you want it planted to determine which spacing calculation you feel is most appropriate. We have found the Natural Spacing option is the most adaptable between Square and Triangular calculations, hence it is the default.
