Hello.

I was wondering if anyone has a good workflow for plants in pots and how to document these using landfx. (Custom blocks, Refnote Legends, Plant Schedules, etc.)

This part of the planting plan is tough because it is at such a small scale comparted large planting areas. My company currently shows 'dumb' plant blocks and a specific detail for each pot type but that doesn't relate back to the planting legend.

I'm eager to hear how other users tackle this issue.

Thanks,
Zach,
We would also love to hear other views, as I assume there are quite a few different work flows out there for things like this. I have a quick Idea that might work for you (if you aren't already doing so). If you have certain plant types that will be in pots for certain areas, you could create a custom plant block that includes a pot and plant symbol so things are all bundled together, and you can just add a unique plant for those particular locations. This way you can have them listed in the Plant Schedule with all appropriate remarks, have them grouped together by using subgroups if needed, and have the ability to assign different details per type as well.

I'm sure it could go deeper than this, but those are my initial thoughts to accomplish what you describe. Of course, any other examples or clarifications would help us understand if there is any potential for a wishlist item or two.

Cheers,
