For some reason my PUBLISH command has decided to stop working. It brings an error screen up that says I do not have a pdf viewer installed. However I can plot to pdf just fine. This started last week. It has worked fine up until then.
Can you confirm that you have a PDF viewer installed?
It would seem the simplest solution would be to just reinstall it.

You should be able to use the PLOT command regardless.

The printer/plotter default configuration had changed and it took couple of attempts to get it to stay where I needed it.

well the plotter was the issue for one project but the other 4 or 5 I've done the morning do not want to plot. Which a pain if there are alot of pages to the project.
Hi Li,
Are you getting the same error that Charles was getting, or a different one? I know you're in the same office.
Have you confirmed that you have a PDF viewer installed?

Other solutions would be:
1. Check the plotter driver being used in the Publish command. You should set the publish to PDF, and the PDF Preset ideally to DWG to PDF.
2. Try one of our recommended 3rd party PDF plotters for better publishing systems. I've tried Acroplot with this with good success.

Let me know the results from troubleshooting those.

I meant to link to the recommended third party plotters. Here's that link: Better Options: Third-Party PDF Printers

I’m not getting the error Charles was talking about.
We aren’t in the same office anymore.
I would have to go thru IT to get 3rd party software, Charles would have to get any changes like that approved.
Thank you
