Is there a way to do a ref note as an area or amenity, then place it but also still place a callout? right now we just copy a callout and over-write the information.

Hi Bob,
When you place an amenity or area refnote, you can call those out with a site callout. I think you might be comparing this to the notation type refnote where when you place it, it simply places as a callout from the start.

You can access the callout tool either from the callout option in the Reference Note Manager, or from the Site Callouts tool in the ribbon.
I strongly recommend against trying to manually overwrite a callout copied from another refnote. It won't actually change the callout's association and running a Verify Labels on your refnote callouts would result in them turning back to what they originally were.
